Exactly 15.06.2024 marks 5 years since I started the Marketing w Pillułce blog. It was a time full of ups and downs, it really taught me a lot. And honestly? If someone had told me 5 years ago that it would turn out like this... I probably wouldn't have believed it!
Marketing in a Nutshell is a blog that I started at the beginning of my marketing career . I created it completely by myself from scratch, through trial and error, and as we know, that's when you learn the most. I'm self-taught - when I don't know something, I look for the answer until I find it. So I read a lot of guides, watched tutorials, constantly tried to find solutions to make this site work as best as possible. On June 15, 2019, I published the first article on the blog and talked about it on my Instagram .
At first, the blog was supposed to be my portfolio , and it did its job perfectly – thanks to it, I got my first dream internships and jobs in the industry – at a public relations agency and in the marketing department of a large corporation. Over time, however , it became something more for me – a place where I started to share my knowledge with others, as well as my career path . I wanted to pass on the knowledge that I lacked when I was starting out.
What is Marketing in a Nutshell for me now, after these 5 years? My personal brand . A brand where I not only talk about working in marketing , but also educate how to create effective content and develop your brands. What's more, I provide my services in this area, including preparing marketing and sales materials or content calendars along with content ideas tailored to a given brand.
Wow. I seriously didn't think it would turn out this way!
What have I achieved in these 5 years? First of all:
Every year, on my birthday, I organize a surprise, for example a free 7-day challenge or a free product. It is a special day for me, an opportunity to thank those who are with me and support me.
So what did I organize for the 5th anniversary of Marketing in a Nutshell? Two surprises, connected:
I organised everything myself – from the idea, organisation, to technical and substantive issues.
Well, in the end all I can say is… thank you for these 5 years!
