On September 12, 2024, the iconic Muranów Cinema in Warsaw hosted a unique InCommerce conference organized by the Sempai agency. The event brought together e-commerce, marketing, and new technology enthusiasts, offering a unique combination of a cinematic atmosphere and top-notch substantive lectures.

Allegro was the strategic partner of the conference, actively co-creating the program and sharing its experiences with the participants.

The conference not only provided a solid dose of knowledge and inspiration, but also supported a noble cause. All proceeds from tickets were donated to the Dajemy Dzieciom Siłę Foundation, which works to keep children safe online and combat cyberbullying.

Practical workshops for a good start

The InCommerce 2024 conference began with a series of practical workshops. Despite the early hour, the atmosphere at Kino Muranów was full of energy – participants eagerly began to acquire knowledge that would help them become directors of their own e-commerce hits.

Workshop 1: Start on Allegro – how to do it effectively?

The first workshop was led by Angelika Jaskulska from Allegro Academy . Participants learned how to effectively start selling on Allegro, using the welcome program for new sellers. They also discussed ways to use current trends, optimize offers for search engines, and the importance of fast deliveries and participation in the Smart! program in building a competitive advantage. There was also no shortage of tips on expanding into foreign markets.

Workshop 2: SEO Allegro: how to write the perfect offer?

The second workshop was led by Iza Michalska from the Sempai agency . She focused on creating attractive and effective offer descriptions on Allegro. Participants learned about the key elements that are worth including in titles and content, and how to avoid typical mistakes. Iza also shared techniques for giving texts a unique character and using customer feedback to continuously improve offers.

Workshop 3: From A to Z, or Allegro Analytics from the inside

The third workshop was led by Damian Mielech, an Allegro Ads specialist from Sempai . He presented the Allegro Analytics tool to the participants as the key to understanding the market and optimizing sales. Damian discussed, among others, trend analysis, monitoring the effectiveness of offers, pricing strategy and methods of comparing your own activities with the competition. Participants learned how to use data to make better business decisions.

Aromatic coffee and fresh sandwiches made the time spent on intensive learning even more enjoyable. Thanks to the workshops, the participants were perfectly prepared for the rest of the conference and ready for further doses of knowledge during the lectures.

Allegro Stage – the largest Polish marketplace without secrets

After intensive workshops, the participants moved to two stages – the Allegro stage and the e-commerce stage, where a series of inspiring lectures from experts specializing in online sales awaited them.

The first speaker on the Allegro stage was Paweł Chodkiewicz , a practitioner and long-time head of the marketplace at Glosel (TaniaKsiążka.pl / bee.pl). In his speech "Revolution on Allegro - how to earn when others lose? Strategy of profitable business scaling" he presented strategies for using changes on Allegro to increase sales profitability, both for manufacturers and resellers.

Then Ewelina Pozorska from the Allegro Academy team presented a lecture entitled “How can you reach 26 million new customers with one tool? ” She discussed how to start selling abroad to the Czech Republic and Slovakia, using Allegro’s support in logistics, translations and promotion.

The next speaker was the aforementioned Damian Mielech, Marketplace Team Leader at Sempai . In his speech “From A to Z, or Allegro Analytics from the inside out,” he shared his knowledge on using Allegro’s analytical tools to develop sales and gain competitive advantage.

After him, Jakub Dodot, UX Manager at Allegro , appeared on stage . In his lecture “How customer behavior is changing on the Internet,” he presented the impact of global events, such as the pandemic or the development of AI, on changes in customer shopping behavior and discussed the consequences of these changes for sellers.

Dorota Dałek, Senior Media Strategist at Allegro , then delivered a presentation on “Marketplace – new horizons for brands. From challenges to solutions .” She discussed the challenges facing brands in the era of marketplace dominance and presented strategies for effective operation in this environment, from organization to cross-border sales.

The next speaker was Dominik Michałek, Account Manager at IdoSell. In his lecture "How to combine cross-border and marketplace and not get lost!" he shared proven strategies for expanding into foreign markets through marketplaces, taking into account legal and cultural differences and methods facilitating this process.

At the end of the conference part, the Allegro stage was taken over by Paweł Orski , Head of E-commerce at Cocolita . In his lecture "How to get to the podium on Allegro in a beautiful style? Case study" he presented the success story of the seller's account www_drogeria_pl, showing how to achieve high sales results on Allegro.

During the Q&A session, there was no shortage of questions from the participants.

There was no shortage of questions during the Q&A session after each presentation, and participants could also combine gaining knowledge with good fun and win gifts from Allegro in interactive competitions. Thanks to inspiring presentations, participants gained valuable knowledge and practical tips that they can use in their businesses to achieve success on the Allegro platform and beyond

Inspiring speeches on the e-commerce scene

In parallel to the lectures on the Allegro stage, equally interesting presentations were held on the e-commerce stage. Participants could freely choose between both stages, adapting the program to their interests.

The first to appear on stage was Justyna Pliś, Head of Marketing at AtomStore . In her lecture "If not a marketplace, then what? Building your own e-commerce brand", she discussed strategies for increasing sales in your own online store. She presented practical techniques that support brand building and increase conversions, and illustrated her speech with specific examples.

Then Adam Bułka, Key Account Director at PayPo , presented the topic "Increase sales without investing in advertising - discover the potential of deferred payments" . He explained how the implementation of deferred BNPL payments affects customers' purchasing decisions, increases the value of baskets and loyalty, and reduces the number of abandoned transactions.

The next speaker was Magda Surowiec, Brand Manager of the social media agency Kohai . In her presentation “The creative side of e-commerce: How to use video to promote products,” she presented how to create engaging video content that increases sales. She shared inspiring examples from various industries.

After her, Małgorzata Kubisiak, Executive & Business Coach and Mangrove expert , took to the stage . In her lecture "Team - problem or solution? 7 practical and unusual ways to deal with typical e-commerce challenges", she discussed how to effectively use the potential of a team to overcome everyday challenges in e-commerce business.

At the end, Jacek Szostak, Media Manager at Grupa Żywiec , appeared on the e-commerce stage . In his presentation "If Things Were Already Better? - Building Brands and Communications AD2025", he reflected on the effectiveness of traditional approaches to communication in a changing reality. He discussed how brands should communicate and who to direct their messages to in the coming years.

A wide range of lectures gave participants the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the areas of e-commerce, marketing and management, while gaining practical advice to use in their companies.

The cherry on the cake of the InCommerce x Allegro conference was a panel discussion entitled "Scaling a business on Allegro. Two views" . The moderator of the discussion was Krzysztof Janosiewicz, Head of Marketplace & Paid Ads at Sempai , who manages a team of specialists and is responsible for the development of services related to paid campaigns on various platforms.

The discussion was supposed to show “two perspectives” on scaling a business on Allegro, but as Krzysztof Janosiewicz noted, depending on the topics discussed, there were even four perspectives or one common position. Although the panelists represented different sides of the digital world, many of their observations were convergent.

Scaling your business on Allegro

During the panel, experts emphasized the need for rapid verification of strategies due to the dynamic changes on Allegro. They drew attention to the essential aspect of conducting sales, which is regular financial analysis, precise calculations and monitoring of inventory levels. They also considered the future of resellers, who – in their opinion – must improve the quality of offers in order to stay on Allegro. They also emphasized the growing importance of Allegro Ads and the need to expand into foreign markets, such as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and soon Hungary .

The panel provided participants with valuable insights into effectively scaling a business on Allegro. The importance of adapting to change, precise data analysis, and openness to new markets was emphasized. As Krzysztof Janosiewicz noted, despite different perspectives, the experts agreed on the key aspects of running a profitable business on the largest Polish marketplace.

The InCommerce 2024 conference turned out to be a unique event that combined a cinematic atmosphere with substantive knowledge in the field of e-commerce.
